Youth education in public gardens is becoming an important option to increase community outreach and educational opportunities, and to develop a future audience for public horticulture. It is often perceived that this education is primarily focused at the elementary level but some secondary horticulture education exists as well. FFA is a national leadership organization for agricultural education students and is comprised of approximately 500, 000 members. The FFA has remained relevant and strong among educational standards that continue to evolve in a dynamic industry.
