Russia seems to be putting out a lot of Death/Doom Metal lately, this is the debut album from this Russian band, started in 2008 and it is quite impressive. This is feels a lot more primitive and minimalistic then most Death/Doom Metal out there. Mostly because of the absence of keyboards. There are melodic moments but these are exclusively played on the guitar. At times it sort of reminds me of Mourning Beloveth. Not bad, an impressive debut. |
